Peridot
Peridot is one of the few gemstones available on the market that can be found only in one color, although the shades of green may vary from light yellow to dark brownish-green. A deep and intense green colored stone is considered the most desirable and the most valuable, the finest quality of this material comes from Mogok in Burma, although Chinese and Pakistani stones are now really appreciated as well. Usually it comes with transparent clarity without visible inclusions, but in the bigger gemstones can present some typical inclusions denominated lilypad inclusions. Peridot is a popular gemstone, cut in the most common shape like oval, octagon, pear, round; it is not treated or enhanced and is commonly used in jewelry duo to its luster and hardness that make it a re ally attractive gemstone but affordable.
