Spectrolite

Spectrolite is a rare variety of feldspar, it displays an amazing combination of shades of blue, and virtually the entire color spectrum. This gem is often shaped into cabochon cut, but it can be also faceted and used in jewelry. Spectrolite gemstones are the very high grade of Labradorite. Some Spectrolite may have black needle like inclusions, metal-like platelets of iron oxide and magnetite that contribute to give an adorable and attractive shiny effect to the gemstone.
