Zircon

A lot of people often confuse natural zircon gemstones with the artificial diamond simulant cubic zirconia, but zircon is a beautiful and natural gemstone genuine earth mined, especially in countries like: Cambodia, where it occurs in a wide range of colors, from colorless to yellow, green, purple or red. The blue variety of this material are really popular and appreciated with its strong pleochroism. The blue hue is generated with heat treatment that transform a dark brownish gemstone into a more desirable electric blue zircon. Usually it comes with eye clean clarity and high dispersion that make this gemstone really adorable and eye catchy. Some gemstones when presents visible inclusions into the crystal can show cat’s eye, but they are rare like the natural green gemstone variety.
